This is a review on Mindful Healthcare Ltd. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I hoped I wouldn't have to resort to writing a Mindful Healthcare review, but this year I decided to stand up for myself and not be taken for a fool. I am owed money by this company and am getting fed up getting fobbed off. I had a bad feeling about them from the start. I have worked in business long enough to understand how many businesses work. The only way to get attention these days is with an online review. If they won't answer the phone, maybe they will read this.

Mindful Heathcare approached me August of 2020. I had been referred to them. Once I looked at the website and realised they offer online therapy I was quite excited as this is a subject close to my heart. Having battled and overcome depression and anxiety I thought I was well placed to help. Plus with this pandemic, it seemed a relevant subject matter and I liked the idea of getting this site moving. I am lucky in that I can pick and choose clients and I do only take on subjects that interest me. As this website aims to help other people I thought great, here will be some good karma. If I do some good work for this company I will be helping many people. I believe the more you give the more you receive. It works for me anyway.
A zoom meeting was held and I was faced with the CEO, Chairman and a couple of other people. https://mindfulhc.co.uk/the-mindful-team/. I had done some research on the company and well there has been lots of changes looking at companies house. The business was crowdfunded: https://www.crowdcube.com/companies/mindful-healthcare. I found another website which was linked to this company but they were very sheepish and didn't give me any straight answers when I asked about it. I like transparency in business, but there was none here. When I asked what people they wanted to target. One of them said "teenagers with rich families". I sensed straight away these were not the sort of business people I wanted to work for or help. My instinct told me I couldn't trust these people. I have worked in this industry for 14 years so I should listen to myself. But I carried on explaining what they needed in terms of SEO and what I would do. I came away from the meeting thinking, too many cooks. They would be a nightmare to work for. Only interested in profits. So I wasn't bothered if I didn't heard from them again.
Not long after they got in touch and wanted me to start work. I thought I would give them the benefit of my doubt so agreed to help them. I have longstanding clients in the tourism industry which of course are on hold due to the pandemic, so I had the time and could do with the extra work. I was given someone to liaise with and got started on the work. I normally ask for my invoice to be paid before I start work with new clients. Once trust is built I don't mind waiting a little. I explained my concerns to this person I was liaising with and he reassured me as he was paid on time. As I am an idiot I did far more hours than I billed for. This was in September. I then sent them my next invoice and started working again.
During the time I worked for them I spoke to another marketing expert, who I was next going to be working with, then that one left and there was someone else on board. It was all a bit manic and that was just over a couple of months. They have no idea what they are doing quite clearly. Its like they are going from expert to expert not liking what they are saying and them moving on. It is like too many cooks and each have their own recipe and putting it all together makes one hell of a mess.
I have emailed requested my payment and have been fobbed off many times now. I don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths, or keypads. I have tried phoning but my calls get ignored. I was about to borrow a neighbours phone so they pick up the phone, but know they would only fob me off yet again. So I thought I would do what I do best. I thought if I wrote a Mindful Heathcare review, this might make them wake up, do what's right and pay me. Plus it might warn off someone else getting stung.
The last email I sent I was very polite but explained I was starting to grown horns. Well they are out now. I have RSI from my IT work which is hard enough when I am being paid, let alone when I am having to deal with cowboy companies like this. But as a freelancer and female, it seems I am an easy target. I am fed up of being walked all over. Not anymore. 2021 I WILL listen to my instinct. My time is too valuable.
