My bot settings with Mass Planner

In my journey to 100,000 followers, I mentioned that I used Mass Planner to automate my likes, follows and unfollows.

I’ve experimented with different settings and I believe the settings I used are pretty safe and good for engagement.

The account is more than a year old created by myself and I have never been temporary blocked or banned.

What sources should you target?

I target followers of big accounts in the same niche.

The big accounts I chose have at least 300,000 followers and 10,000 likes per post.

You should target at least 10 big accounts to ensure you have enough sources.

Previously, I targeted hashtags but  I didn’t find it effective because I gained less than 200 followers a day.

Like Settings

Here, I target posts of followers of big accounts in my niche.

I do around 750 to 800 likes a day.

Every 4 to 6 minutes, Mass Planner will like 8 to 10 posts with 3 to 20 seconds delay between each like.

Mass Planner will only like posts with less than 10 likes and every follower I target will only receive 1 like from my account.

You should target posts with less than 10 likes because your likes will be more visible to the user, who is probably desperate for likes too.

Furthermore, every user will only receive 1 like from my account, to increase my reach.

Imagine if you give 2 likes per user, your reach will be reduced by 50%.

Follow Settings

I follow from 570 to 600 users a day.

These users are followers that interacted with posts of the big accounts I targeted.

In other words, these are active and engaged followers that I want.

Every 12 to 15 minutes, Mass Planner will follow 15 to 20 users with 20 to 40 seconds delay between each follow.

In addition, I only want followers that are following less than 1,500 accounts.

I don’t want to follow users that follow thousands of accounts because my posts are unlikely to be visible to them and they’re probably bots.

Private users are also excluded.

Unfollow Settings

We need to unfollow because Instagram only allows us a maximum of 7,500 following.

Personally, I follow and unfollow on the same day and I try to limit to 4,000 following.

Reason is users don’t like to follow back accounts with close to 7,500 following.

It makes your Instagram page look “cheap” and less exclusive, I guess.

I unfollow from 500 to 600 users a day.

Every 8 to 12 minutes, Mass Planner will follow 8 to 10 users with 10 to 30 seconds delay between each follow.

To me, unfollow settings isn’t as important as like and follow settings.

Sometimes, I only unfollow users that don’t follow back after 4 to 5 days.

Once I run out of non-follower users, I start to unfollow all users.

Within 24 hours, Mass Planner automated 750 to 800 likes, 570 to 600 follows and 500 to 600 unfollows, for my account.

With these settings, I usually gain an average of 450 to 600 new followers a day.

You’ll notice that I don’t automate comments because I’ve seen accounts deactivated/banned due to comment spam.

Again, I’d like to highlight that the age of your Instagram account matters and don’t try my settings on accounts less than 3 months old.
