The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) was established on 17 March 1970 under the Indian Companies Act as a city planning organization. The headquarter of the CIDCO is located at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is a government department which develop a satellite town to Mumbai, Maharashtra India to ease traffic congestion in the city and provide open spaces, playing fields, housing and industrial sites outside the city. The department works to consider the problems of traffic congestion, deficiency of open spaces and playing fields, housing shortages, and over-concentration of industry in the metropolitan and suburban areas of the city. The department are fully responsible to invites various recruitment notification for filling various vacant posts in various units which is located at all over state. Recently the department was announced the notification for CIDCO Exam 2016 for filling various posts of the Fireman, Driver, Operator.
