The Academy of Maritime Studies is a leading Merchant Navy training centre for those interested in a merchant navy career course. We have collaborated with Western Australia Maritime Training Centre (WAMTC), Challenger TAFE, Fremantle, Perth, Government of Western Australia. Among a host of Merchant Navy courses, our curriculum is in accordance with Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), Government of Australia, and has been designed keeping the highest industry standards in mind. As a result we have a high student satisfaction post completion of the course and enjoy the respect of both the students and the International Maritime Community.
Our successful Merchant Navy cadets have gone on to lead lead various international vessels. Deck Cadet Program is designed keeping the industry requirements in mind. It presents an entry level professional both academic and professional experience. The result is a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Transport & Distribution as Second Mates, Mates and then leading to Masters. Each Phase builds on the previous phase and provides relevant, academic and practical instruction to match graduate levels of experience.

All of them have several years of extensive sea going experience as Masters Mariners / Chief Engineers. There is a pool of in depth industry knowledge providing the prospective cadet a rich learning environment, as the trainer staff is able to integrate theory with practical examples from their experience.
