SAAT 2019 Online Application Form has been released from 22 November 2018. Saat 2019 briefly known as Siksha O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test, commonly known as SAAT is conducted every year by Siksha O’ Anusandhan University, Orissa, in around 50 cities for selection in various Under Graduate and Post Graduate programs in Engineering at three different campuses. SAAT 2019 Application Form
Application Form is available on the universities official website from 22 November 2019 onwards. Candidates have to visit the website and register themselves using their email Id and mobile number and then fill in the necessary details as are asked in the application procedure.
Offline option for filling application form will also be available. Candidates and aspirants can check the detailed procedure at official website once the application forms are out. You can also visit this website for regular updates.

SAAT Eligibility Criteria
There are various programs that are offered by SOA at three different campuses. Eligibility criteria vary for all the programs. Details about the eligibility in each course can be seen below.
Admissions in Bachelor Courses:
- Tech. /Dual Degree in Engineering/ Dual Degree in Management:
Pass or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. One subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science or any other as approved by the appropriate authority, by securing at least 50% aggregate marks.
OR
Pass in Diploma in Engineering / Technology with more than 60% marks in aggregate.
- Pharm.
Pass or appearing at 10+2 exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory courses, and one more subject (Mathematics, Biotechnology, etc. as approved by the appropriate authority) and securing an aggregate of 45% in General Category, and 40% in case of SC, ST, and OBC.
OR
Pass in a diploma program in pharmacy with more than 60%.
- Sc. in Nursing(Basic)
- Pass of appears in 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory courses and minimum aggregate marks of 45% in the general category and 40% in SC, ST, and OBC.
- Lower age limit is 17 years.
- Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Post Basic)
- Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council.
- Candidate must be a member of TNAI.
Admissions in Master’s Courses:
- Tech / MBA
GATE / CAT (Composite score of 500+) qualified students are exempted from the entrance test, they have to submit the application form.
Candidate should have completed Graduation in B.Tech or equivalent course.
- Pharm
Candidate should have completed B.Pharm with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
- MBA/ MHA / MHTM / MHMCT
Candidates should have completed graduation from any recognized university with at least 50% aggregate (45% from SC/ ST / OBC).
- B.Sc. in Nursing
Passed B.Sc. Nursing with 55% aggregate from an Indian Nursing Council recognized university with a minimum of 1-year experience in clinical or teaching area.
They should be registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
Admissions in Lateral Entry Programs:
- Admission to 2nd year Degree Program in Engineering, Pharmacy & Hotel Management for Diploma Holders
Passing or appearing at three-year diploma course in Engineering/ Pharmacy and Hotel Management respectively with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
- Lateral Entry MCA
Passed or appearing in three years BCA, B.Sc. in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 60% aggregate.

SAAT 2019 Exam Pattern
The paper pattern of Siksha O’ Anusandhan Admission Test is given below.
- It’s a multiple choice question (MCQ) paper mostly in offline mode. Exam pattern may change according to new guidelines of SAAT 2019.
- The question paper will have three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The paper consists of 60 objective type questions from each subject. There is a NEGATIVE MARKING. Marking scheme is (+4, -1).
- Candidates can use an HB Pencil or Black ink pen to fill the choices in the answer sheet.
- Admit Card can be downloaded by the candidates from the official website 10 days before the exams. Marking scheme has not been released by the university as of now.

Reservations Criteria for SAAT 2019
The reservation criteria for admission in Siksha O’ Anusandhan (deemed to be university) is mention here.
Schedule Caste (SC) – 15%
Schedule Tribe (ST) – 7.5%
Physically Handicapped (PH) – 3%.
Women – 30%.
All the candidates under SC/ST category will have to show all the relevant documents during counselling. There will be a separate merit list for SAAT 2019 for these categories. No reservations are allowed in lateral entry programs.
SAAT 2019 Counselling and Result
Results are out in May 2019. Admissions will depend on the merit list, which will be followed by group discussions and personal interviews. Those candidates who are in the merit list, and have written “Appearing” in the qualifying examination have to submit their original mark sheets and pass certificate on the day of counselling, failing which the rank will be canceled.

Admission Through JEE Main 2019
The Siksha O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) accepts JEE Main Score for admission along with SAAT 2019 – Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test. Also, a separate announcement will be notified on the official website and newspaper regarding the same. And Admission to UG and PG programs except for Medical and Dental programs of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan.
Admission through NEET 2019
The admission to MBBS and BDS course at is Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan follow the supreme court regulation and under NEET 2019. The aspirants of Medical and Dental programs of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan are advised to follow National Eligibility CUM Entrance Test.
