KIITEE 2018 (KIIT Entrance Examination) is the all India level entrance exam (admission test) conducted by KIIT University for Admission into various courses of the University

About University – Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology “KIIT” was started with a mission to promote Vocational Education Institute in 1992 in rented premises in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. By 1997 considered as Base year for “KIIT” commenced with undergraduate courses in Engineering and PG in Computer Application and Management. Got University status in 2004 just after 6 years of its inception (1997-2004).

KIITEE Application Form 2018

Application Form for Kiitee 2018 will be available on the official website of KIITEE. Generally, the university will notify the application form in December 2017 Second Week and Forms will be available by the 4th week of March 2018. There is no fee for the application form.

KIITEE 2018 Application Fee

There is no fee for filling the application form for KIITEE 2018 admission to Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, India.

Eligibility Criteria for KIIT University:

For Bachelor of Technology (4 Years) & Dual Degree Courses

  • Candidates who passed Senior Secondary 10+2 Board examinations in 2016, 2017 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2018 are only eligible to apply for Bachelor of Technology B.Tech and Dual Degree Courses available at the University.
  • Candidate should have studied in regular full-time formal education.
  • 60 percent marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in 10 +2 or its equivalent.
  • For Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) & Master of Technology (M.Tech) Dual Degree Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 Senior Secondary Board or equivalent with at least 60% marks in PCMB( Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology)if taken together.
  • Should have born on or after D.O.B i.e. 01.07.1996

For B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) 5 years

  • 60% marks in 12th Boards with mathematics as subjects
  • The pass percentage in NATA exam conducted by Council of Architecture in Compulsory for Architecture course.
  • Must have born on or after 01 July 1997.

For MBBS/BDS:

50% marks in 10+2 Board Examination subjects with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in PCB ( Physics, Chemistry & Biology) taken together for SC/ST Candidates. With English as Compulsory Subject.

Age: Minimum age should be 17 years as on 31.12.2018 & Maximum age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.2018.  Relaxation of the upper age limit by five years for SC/ST candidates will also be there in the admission process.

KIITEE Exam/Paper Pattern

  • The Online exam will be conducted through CBT (Computer Based Mode).
  • Objective type question
  • Multiple answers with four options.
  • Four marks will be given for each correct Answer
  • Negative Marking: one mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.
  • The question paper will be in English.

For B.Tech/B.Tech (Dual Degree) Exam pattern:

Preparation Tips for KIITEE 2018

  1. The aspirants must be aware of the complete detailed information about the examination and the syllabus of the examination.
  2. Knowing the exam pattern is equally important.
  3. The candidates must prepare a study timetable and must follow the same strictly.
  4. Practising more and more questions is very much necessary for scoring high in KIITEE 2018 Examination. So, the candidates must solve previous year question papers and mock tests, and analyse their performance.
  5. Maintaining a good health is very much important. So, the aspiring candidates must take care of their health.

Syllabus for KIITEE 2018 Examination

For every course, the syllabus of the examination is different. Basically, the syllabus of the qualifying examination will be the syllabus of the examination. For example, the syllabus of B.Arch. / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Tech. will consist of the syllabus of 10 + 2. Similarly, the syllabus of L.L.M. will be from L.L.B. course. Also, the Syllabus of M.Tech. will consist of the syllabus of B.E. / B.Tech. course.

KIITEE Slot Booking For 2018

  • KIITEE Slot Booking will be processed to book the slots for online examination and it is an online process, whereas booking cannot be made through any other mode.
  • Mainly slot booking process for KIITEE 2018 will start in the month of April 2018.
  • Candidates have to book test date, time & venue as per their convenience.
  • Candidates should log in with the registration number & password.
  • This is the necessary process for each candidate to book a slot and to get their admit card.
  • Without a slot booking, candidates are not able to download the KIITEE Admit Card 2018.

Admit Card KIITEEE (KIIT University):

KIITEE Admit Card will be available in the first week of April 2018. On the official website of KIITEE for Downloading,
  • The Candidates do not get any hard copy of admit card.
  • Candidates must preserve the Admit Card till the end of admission procedure.
  • At the examination centres, the authority concerned will check the admit card.

Cut Off for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Engineering Entrance Examination 2018

Kalinga University will fix the cut off marks at the time of result declaration and publishing of merit list. The cut-offs fixed by the university will be dependent on the seat matrix (availability of seats) in different courses offered. The candidates securing marks higher than the fixed cut off marks will get the counselling letter.

KIITEE Result

The result of KIITEE 2018 examination/test will be available here and also at the official website of KIITEE. The KIIT University will declare the main result in the month of May 2018 third week. A separate merit list will be there for all courses.

KIITEE website will provide the rank card for downloading purpose or will send it to the qualified candidates.

Counselling KIITEE

Selection of the candidates for the counselling will depend on the availability of the seats and the minimum qualifying score i.e the cut-off marks.

The KIITEE 2018 Counselling may start in June 2018, first week

Generally, Counselling and seat allotment are strictly based on the merit list prepared.

Verification Document will take place at the time of counselling.

Candidates must bring their original documents at the time of counselling.
