Syllabus for JEE Main 2018: Some Imperative Tips

Same things go for Non-CBSE (except ICSE Board). As the question Paper will be segmented into three parts- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

And apart from this one needs to take the help of other books as well. Basically, RD Sharma and RS Aggarwal will suffice to tackle each and every problem of Mathematics. To tackle Chemistry topics, one need to practise formulae, chemical equation and for this, the student should make notes and revise it genuinely. Do not put a plethora of thrust in small topics and area such as solid states. For topics like this will get tackled merely by concept review and problem-solving stuff.
In order to be adept in Physics the aspirants first go through NCERT and it should dwell in top agenda. Then the student should focus on modern physics and then stride towards the lengthy topics such as electrostatic, magnetism and optics. It is mandatory to clear the concepts of these topics.
Eligibility Criteria to secure a seat in 31 NITs and CFTIs via JEE Main 2018
- The candidates should secure more than 75% marks in 12th board.
- And should fall within 20 percentile in a specific board examination.
- Exemption of 5% will be given who belongs to SC/ST category (65% for sc/st).
- And it is mandatory to qualify JEE Main 2018.
- There will be 3 attempts for JEE Main.
- The candidates should be born on or after 01 October 1993. Exemption of 5 years age limit for SC/ST & PwD candidates.
Details of Application form for Joint Entrance Examination 2018:
- First and Foremost all the students should have Aadhar number with to enrol for this exam. Only North-East states will have the benefit of exemption from Aadhar card (or UID card). They can instead provide their ration card number or any govt ID proof number.
- One should fill the Application form via online only. No provision to go through offline.
- Though the candidate can opt to take offline mode exam as well.
- Description of the application form fee is as follows-

Exam pattern for JEE Main 2018 elucidated below:
This year also the pattern remains the same. There will be two papers in which paper-II is optional. The question paper will check the deep knowledge pertaining to a student. So the students need to be industrious and have to put forth hard labour. Though it can be tackled wisely and smartly as well. But for this, conceptual erudition is what required.
There will be two papers conducted on the same date, Paper-I includes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. And the exam duration will last for 3 hrs. It is to acquire B.E/B.Tech Engineering. And the Paper -II is for those candidates who desire to pursue career in B.Arch and B.Planning. A student may opt both papers if he/she wish for. There will be 30 objective questions for each subject and overall 90 questions will be there in the question booklet. For each correct answer one will procure +4 marks and each wrong answer will penalise -1 mark.
Paper-II will take place in offline mode only. And there will be 30 objective type questions in Mathematics section. 50 question will be from Apptitude test section. And the paper contains two (02) questions of drawing test. Thus comprising of 390 overall marks.
