Jaipur national university set up in the year 2007, holds its entrance examination, the Combined Entrance Test followed by an interview for various UG and PG courses every year. Jaipur National University 2017 Admission Process is as follows.

Important Dates

Candidates must note down the following tentative important dates of the exam schedule for admission to Jaipur National University. They shall be careful and shall not miss even one date as that can cause a huge problem in them getting the admission. How To Apply Jaipur national university 2017:-

  • Application Forms are made available at the Admission Cell (Seedling Academy Campus), Near New RTO, Jagatpura on cash payment of Rs. 1100/-.
  • The application form has to be downloaded from the website. It is supposed to be sent with a DD of Rs. 1100/- in the favour of ‘Jaipur National University’, and should be payable at Jaipur. The same is required to be sent at the address given below :-

Instructions How To fill the Application Form :-

  1. All information that is entered in the form is automatically converted to upper case.
  2. All mandatory fields are shown by the “*”
  3. The application form contains 4 sections, namely: Basic Details ; Photo Upload ; Registration Form ; Payment.
  4. Each section is submitted by clicking on “Save & Continue” button.
  5. Once the application form is submitted the candidate would receive login details enabling him/her to log on our admission portal.
  6. If, before the payment, one wishes to make any changes, he/she shall login with their credentials and click on “My Form”
  7. The candidate is then provided with the option of saving the Application Form (in .pdf format) to any desired location or they can also take a print of the same.
  8. Login details are required if at any time one needs to review their application
  9. The candidates must have their email id, a digital copy of their passport size photograph and other details ready, before filling up the form.
Exam Pattern

* There are 100 objective type questions

* Each question has four options

* There is no negative marking

* Candidate is required to answer the questions carefully and put a cross mark in the corresponding box of the correct option with preferably a blue pen

  1. I. Tech – The exam paper contains 25 questions from each of the following subjects. The questions are all of 10+2 level.
  2. General Awareness + General English
  3. Physics
  4. Chemistry
  5. Maths
  6. B.Pharma – The paper pattern is more or less same as that of B. Tech. However, an option is given to the students to choose between the Maths and the Bio section.

III. MBA, PGDM, and MCA – Paper is of graduation Level having questions from following subjects.

  1. General Awareness
  2. General Science
  3. General English
  4. Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics
  5. Basic Computer Knowledge
  1. BHMCT, BA/BA-LLB, B.Sc. Nursing, B. Des. Fashion Design – Paper is again of 10+2 level having questions from following subjects.
  1. General Awareness
  2. General Science/Biology
  3. General English
  4. Elementary Mathematics
  5. Basic computer knowledge

V.B.Ed. – questions are of graduation level from the following subjects. They are both in English and in Hindi. Also, questions based on aptitude for teaching and strategies to deal with primary and secondary students are asked.

  1. General awareness
  2. General science
  3. General English
  4. Basic computer knowledge
  1. M. Ed. – the format is same as that of B. Ed.

VII. M. Tech. – Graduation level questions based on the following subjects and some specific questions based on specialization.

  1. General knowledge
  2. General science
  3. General English
  4. Basic computer knowledge
  5. Physics
  6. Chemistry
  7. Mathematics

VIII. M. Phil/Ph. D – one common question paper is there for all disciplines. The paper is split into two parts, A section and B Section.

Section A

Has 50 objective type questions of 1 mark each

Based on General Awareness, General Science and General English

The candidate is provided a separate question paper and an OMR Sheet to mark his/her answers

Each question has 4 options, for the right answer candidate needs to put across in the corresponding box of the right answer with a blue pen

Section B

This section is also of 50 marks

Judges the research aptitude of the candidate

A detailed write up is to be written by the candidate on his/her research project of his/her discipline. The same shall include the following points

* title (tentative) of proposed research project

* justification for taking it up

* details of research work the candidate has undertaken

* methodology or techniques adopted for pursuing the project of research.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For courses like BA, B.Ed., etc. a minimum of 50% aggregate from any field is required in 10+2 level examination
  • For courses such as B. Tech. B. Sc. and B.Pharma., the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with the minimum 2nd division with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Bio for those pursuing B. Pharma.
  • For PG courses the candidate must be a graduate in the same discipline.
