“There was a fight between two women volunteers of AAP and one of them later tried to commit suicide. She had written a suicide note in which she alleged that Mla Rajesh Rishi was supporting the other woman. His name is mentioned in one of the cross FIRs filed on the complaints by two sides at Janakpuri police station,” said a senior police officer.

Both the women are residents of Janakpuri in Delhi. One of the woman tried to commit suicide on July 15 and left behind a suicide note accusing the other woman for her extreme step. She also alleged that the accused was harassing her husband and herself on the “behest” of the local MLA.
Later, however, she survived and gave a statement on the basis of which a case was registered at Janakpuri Police Station on July 20, said the officer.
Investigation is on regarding both the cases, he added.
Rajesh Rishi rubbished the charges against him by the woman saying he did not know her, adding that it was a fight between two women in which his name was “unnecessarily dragged”. “I do not know the woman who has levelled allegation against me. But, I know the other woman as a party worker. My name has been unnecessarily drgged in their dispute,” the MLA said.
