Talking about the issue of large number of Indians losing their jobs in Saudi Arabia, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday said that Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia would provide ‘free ration to the unemployed Indian workers in Saudi Arabia.
In a series of tweets, the EAM said that while MoS MJ Akbar would be taking up the matter with Saudi authorities, MoS ‘VK Singh is reaching Saudi Arabia to sort out all such matters.
Swaraj assured that she was observing the issue on an hourly basis and that ‘no Indian worker rendered unemployed in Saudi Arabia would go without food.’
