Veteran Congress Leader Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi Passes Away After 9 Years Of Coma

Veteran Congress leader Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi passed away on Monday at Apollo Hospital in Delhi after spending 9 years in a coma.

The former Union Minister had suffered a massive stroke and paralysis in October 2008 and then slipped to coma. He was initially treated at AIIMS and was shifted to Apollo Hospital in 2009.

According to reports, Dasmunsi breathed his last at 12:10 pm. He had developed chest infection last month that further worsened his condition.
