The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers on Tuesday protested against director Karan Johar outside his residence. Johar has been facing threats from the Raj Thackeray-led MNS for casting Pakistani actors in his films. The workers raised pictures of Nawaz Sharif during their protest.

Meanwhile, the police has intensified the security outside Karan Johar’s residence.

Johar has off late casted Fawad Khan in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

India has accused Pakistan for the Uri attack where 18 Indian soldiers were killed. Soon after the attack, the MNS had called for a ban on all Pakistani actors from the Bollywood industry.
