Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) is a biomedical research centre in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Established in 1935 it was named as Indian Institute of Experimental Medicine (IIEM). Later on IIEM was included in Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in the year of 1956 and renamed to its present form in 1982.
CSIR – Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) has invited applicatations for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the DST-SERB funded research project entitled: ‘Mechanism of Ets-1 transcription factor-mediated metabolic reprogramming and tumorigenesis in ovarian cancer.’ under the PI/co PI Dr. Sib Sankar Roy.
Job Title: Jr. Research Fellow
Job Location: CSIR-IICB, Kolkata
Educational Qualification: M.Sc or B.Tech in Biotechnology or Biophysics or Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or Zoology with 55% marks with NET or GATE.
Salary: Rs.25,000/- p.m. plus HRA
Age Limit: 28 years
