Lucknow: The CEO of Vimeo video sharing website Anjali Sud has been ranked among the 40 most influential entrepreneurs in the world, below the age of 40, by world renowned Fortune magazine.

Fortune is a US-based magazine which is published and owned by Meredith Corporation.

She is one of the four Indian-origin entrepreneurs who have been included in the list headed by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram Cofounder and CEO Kevin Systrom. Both of them are 34-year-old.

Here are some least known facts about Anjali Sud, 34. Have a look:

Struggles during education:

Her life was full of struggles. When she was just 14, she joined a boarding school in Massachusetts in US. She left her home at a tender age and soon found out that the level of education was very high in the US.

She failed in the same class multiple times and it was like a danger bell for her. She had to work really hard to qualify the examination.

Problems faced in finding a job:

She worked really hard to get a job also. Dozens of banks had rejected her CV. When she went to the first bank, they refused her any job saying her personality didn’t match the profile of a bank job. A few of her friends used to advise her to focus on one thing at a time, but she never paid heed to them. They started making fun of her and she had to face a lot of criticism.

Becoming the CEO of Vimeo

After quitting the job at Sagent, she also worked at Amazon for some time. She still couldn’t find satisfaction and left the job in 2014. She then joined video sharing platform Vimeo as Marketing Sector leader.

Seeing her dedication and enthusiasm towards her work, she was asked to prepare content for the website. She continued to work hard and finally was promoted as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.

This seriously is a fairytale of a girl who faced a lot of difficulties but finally found her way to the success through hard work and dedication towards her craft.
