Terrorists Abducted another policeman from Pulwama Tral in Jammu and Kashmir. The Police Officer, Shakeel Ahmed was picked up from the Chankitkar village and The Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a big combing operation to find him.

The policeman was abducted from the area late on Friday night after which Hizbul Mujahideen has released the picture of the policeman lodged in its captivity. “We are verifying the information. His family has said that he is visiting a relative,” said SP Vaid, DGP, J&K. The abduction of policemen are on the rise in J&K this is the fourth such incident in just two months. Last week, police constable Mohammed Saleem was abducted from his home in Matalhama of south Kashmir’s Kulgam. A day after his bullet-riddled body was recovered from Hawoora area of Kulgam.

Earlier in July, Hizbul Mujahideen militants abducted and killed policeman Javid Ahmad Dar whose body was discovered in Kulgam. In June, an Indian Army jawan Aurangzeb was abducted and killed by terrorists in Pulwama district when he was on his way home for Eid celebrations. He belonged to the 4 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry unit of the Indian Army and was attached with the 44 Rashtriya Rifles in Shopian Shadimerg area.
