Beautifull or beautiful?
Beautiful is an adjective which means being pleasant and attractive. At its origin it is formed by two words beauty and full which means full of beauty. In English, there are two forms for this word – beautiful and Beautifull with double L at the end, of which it is the first which is correct.

As per some sources the form of the word with double L (beautifull) is the archaic form and nowadays the correct form which is accepted universally is the form with a single L. Nowadays writing the word with double L is regarded as being a mistake. This mistake appears because in the word beautifully, for example, there are two Ls’. But for the word beautiful the correct form is just the one with the single L.

Do you have a way of remembering the correct spelling of beautiful?
