Halloween season comes to an end and Christmas is around the corner. Let's discover how Barcelona is getting ready for the cold season.

Tots Sants – All Saints

Barcelona starts the new month with a festivity called "Tots Sants". This festival is dedicated to the memory of our forbears. On 1st of November, Catalans traditionally eat chestnuts, moniatos or "boniatos" in spanish (sweet potatoes), panellets – small marzipan cakes, and drink Muscatel or "moscatel" sweet wine.

The following day, family members Visit cemeteries to bring flowers and honour the dead. Cemetries' opening hours are longer on these days.

You should go visit the cemetery at Montjuic, its museum and collection of funeral carriages.

Manga Fair Barcelona

Manga and Anime fans can get ready for the 23rd Manga Fair in Barcelona, which starts on 1st of November and ends on the 5th.

Taking place in the Fira Barcelona Montjuic, the event will take up 75,000 square meters altogether. Fans can enjoy cosplay contests, exhibitions of Asian dances, live music performances, Nintendo video game areas, as well as learn more about Japanese culture with different workshops.

For the hungry ones, you can find food trucks at the Univers Square.

Game of Thrones

Winter is coming to Barcelona! Die hard fans, do not worry. You don't have to wait until the long-anticipated release of the next season in 2018.

The global debut of Game of Thrones Exhibition takes place at Museu Maritim, Barcelona. Explore the Seven Kingdoms and walk through Westeros' streets, as well as Essos and the conquered city of Meereen.

During the exhibition, you can get a closer look at authentic props, costumes and set decorations from the show, as well as different interactive games, and multimedia content. The exhibition launches on 28th of October.

Football

In November, the football team FC Barcelona plays two home games on Camp Nou stadium.

The first match will be played on 5th of November against Sevilla. The game is part of the Spanish league La Liga.

The second game is part of the Copa del Rey and played against Real Murcia. The match is at Camp Nou Stadium on Wednesday 29th of November.
Tickets are not available yet.
