NIS America has announced that Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors will not be releasing in Germany as it has been denied a rating by its board, USK. The game won’t be releasing in Australia for the same reason, thanks to the country’s respective board.
This is despite Criminal Girls 2 being censored for these regions. Back in June, NIS listed a number of changes that came down to ensuring that the game is rated by the authorities in concerned countries. Changes included redrawn art and dialogue “to be absolutely sure that it’s going to be the final version [getting rated]” or NIS would “risk costly delays and even the game not being released at all.” You can read more about that here.
Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors will still be available in other European countries with a PEGI 16 rating and in North America with a Mature rating on September 23 and September 20, respectively.
