In the past three years, EA passed on attending at E3 in favor of its own event called EA Play. This fan event is just a few miles away from the LA Convention Center and begins just before E3’s biggest conferences. In 2019, EA returns with EA Play for its fourth year, but this time its skipping its traditional press Conference to focus on “less talk and more play.”
There will be no conference, and instead EA will run a livestream during their EA Play Event, focusing on their biggest games. EA Play runs June 8-9 at the Hollywood Palladium.
This year’s EA Play will have “first hands-on with some of [EA’s] biggest games” and will feature live streams that will showcase gameplay and “insights from the teams making the games.”
