The Splatoon UK Championship 2018 Splatoon 2 Fan Art Contest
Are you a Splatoon fan with an artistic flair? If so, don’t flounder around – get doodling! We’re also taking submissions for the Splatoon UK Championship 2018 Fan Art Contest right now. The ultimate winners of this contest will be chosen by judges including someone very accustomed to looking at Inkopolis inhabitants: Splatoon 2 producer Hisashi Nogami!
As long as the artwork is based on Splatoon 2, anything goes! From characters to locations to weapons, we’re simply looking for the freshest artwork to come from the UK. Entries can be sent by post to Splatoon 2 Fan Art Competition, Nintendo UK, Quadrant, 55-57 High Street, Windsor, SL4 1LP, or emailed to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Splatoon 2 Fan Art’ by 23:59 on November 11th 2018. Please see here for full Terms and Conditions.
Ten entries will be chosen initially by a judging panel, with the artist behind each receiving a pair of tickets for the event. On Sunday 25th November these top pieces of fan art will be displayed on both the stage and livestream, and Mr. Nogami will announce the final selection of the three ultimate winners as picked by the judging panel and Mr. Nogami.
Not only will these three artists win some lovely Splatoon 2 goodies, they will also receive a print of their art signed by Mr. Nogami himself! But even if you don’t win, your art may still be shared online and at the event as part of the Splatoon 2 celebrations, so get ink-volved!
Alongside all of the Splatoon 2 excitement at Mcm Birmingham Comic Con you’ll also be able to go hands-on with New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, launching exclusively for Nintendo Switch on 11th January 2019, as well as play Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu!, Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee!, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Party and a selection of other titles for Nintendo Switch including Mario Tennis Aces, Fortnite, and EA SPORTS FIFA 19 to name a few.
There will also be plenty of Nintendo Switch docks available for people to use, so make sure to bring your own Nintendo Switch system so you can challenge other members of the UK Nintendo community to a round in your favourite game.
