Lots of trailers appear during gamescom 2018, and Wargaming St Petersburg’s World of Warships: Legends was among the games offering people a new look. The console version of this game, which offers a “custom-tailored experience,” will give people a chance to use a massive selection of historically accurate warships.

Victor Kislyi, Founder and CEO of Wargaming, issued a statement regarding World of Warships Legends:
Legends has been built with console gamers in mind and to fit their needs. Much like we did with World of Tanks: Mercenaries, we’ve looked at how console and PC truly differ in play styles and preferences and tailored the experience with that in mind. Battles are more action-packed and take place between smaller teams, controls are reworked, and much more. This is far more than a port of the PC version, it’s a whole new game—right down to overhauling the graphics engine—which makes everything bigger and brighter on consoles.
World of Warships: Legends involves fast-paced 9v9 naval battles and gives players a chance to choose from one of the several different commanders as an avatar. Each of these commanders has their own perks and caters to a specific play style. Commanders can also gain experience and level up, making them more valuable in battle.
People playing on the PlayStation 4 might hopefully feel at home. Supposedly, World of Warships: Legends’ console version was built with the systems in mind. Even the engine was reworked for this port, to ensure the game will be at its best.
World of Warships: Legends will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019.
