Pillars of Eternity 2 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and Switch later in the year, according to Game Informer.
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire has been in the works since 2016, with a release date finally announced last month. The first game released on PC in 2015, followed by a Console release just last year, but this time around, the wait won’t be as long. Pillars 2 will make its way to consoles this holiday season.
PC development is being handled by Obsidian, while the console ports will be dealt with by Red Cerberus.
Pre-orders for the PC version are open now, with a Standard, Deluxe, and Obsidian Edition available. All three will come with pre-order bonuses, with the Obsidian Edition coming with physical goodies like a “cloth map of the Deadfire region, an Explorer’s notepad and a set of postcards that render the Deadfire Archipelago in beautiful detail,” as well as first three expansions for the game.
There’s no word on pre-orders for the console versions just yet.
