Dramatic Moments – Dragon Ball FighterZ Wiki Guide

In Dragon Ball Fighterz, there are certain unlockable scenes that can be seen both at the start of the battle and in the finishing cinematic. These are Dramatic Intros and Dramatic Finishers, and they are taken straight from the Dragon Ball series anime.

These moments are very specific, and can only be triggered when certain Characters are battling each other under certain circumstances in Versus Mode. These characters must be the primary starting characters on both your team and the opposing team, and some scenes cannot activate if a certain Character is present on either team.

View the list of dramatic moments below with every scene we’ve found.

In this match, Goku and Frieza face off on the planet Namek, where Frieza kills Goku’s best friend Krillin. Enraged by this, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan for the very first time. As the match ends, Goku leaves Frieza to die on the exploding planet Namek, and a last ditch attack be Frieza forces Goku to obliterate his enemy.

When Teen Gohan faces off against Cell at the Cell Games Arena, Gohan’s ally Android 16 is smashed to pieces by Cell. Enraged, Gohan makes the iconic transformation from Super Saiyan to SSJ2. Upon defeat, Cell tries to overpower Gohan, but Gohan – with only one working arm – channels the spirit of his father to perform a one-handed kamehameha blast that destroys Cell for good.

At the climax of the Battle of the Gods, Goku finds himself unable to defeat Lord Beerus in space. Even in defeat, Goku manages to stop a world-ending blast from hitting Earth. This prompts Beerus to show mercy, and spare the life of the saiyan after a great battle.

If Nappa is able to defeat Yamcha in a battle at the Rocky Fields, his tragic death unfolds as Nappa’s Saibamen latch onto Yamcha and detonate in a killing explosion.

In Goku’s fight against Kid Buu at the Sacred World of the Kais, Goku finishes the fight by launching his Spirit Bomb, filled with the power of the people of Earth. As Goku’s energy is restored by a wish to the Great Dragon, his Spirit Bomb overpowers and destroys Kid Buu, as Goku hopes one day he will be reincarnated into someone good.

If Trunks if victorious against Frieza in the Rocky Fields, you can relive Trunks’ debut in the series as he easily defeats the rebuilt Frieza with a flurry of sword slashes ending with an obliterating blast.
