There are plenty of video games celebrating the holidays with special Holiday events that run for a limited time and festive DLC.

All through December players can log in to on different days for various rewards. Mondays and Thursdays to get 250 bonus battle Scraps to spend on new items in the Scrap store.
Wednesdays also have a log in bonus granting players a Standard Battlepack for the honour and Tuesdays give players the chance to earn a Superior Battlepack for completing a holiday mission.
Fridays will offer the opportunity to unlock something special you’ll have to log in to find out what and how and weekends will see boosts to earning XP.
On December 11 players can also make a start on the new Turning Tides expansion.
WoW is back with the annual Feast of Winter Veil event which commences on December 16 through to January 2 and offers festive quests, entertainment, and rewards to go with them.
Participating in the festivities and completing all the winter achievements will grant players the Merrymaker title as well as special items including pets, toys, consumables, and recipes.
On December 31 and 6:00 am realm time the New Year celebrations will also kick off with fireworks and other festivities for the day.
The Winter Seige event will run from December 8 to January 2 which will gift players free supply crates for completing challenges or for just logging in each week.
Winter gear, weapons, and maps are also available and joining a game on one of the featured playlists will allow you to earn double experience points for the duration of the event
This event sees players earning Candy Canes to craft special festive themed furniture and runs from November 30 to December 26.
Logging in during this time will also award a Santa Hat and completing goals can unlock the rest of the outfit.
The Winter Wonderland Event from last year will return on December 12 with some new skins, aesthetic map changes, and new modes.
The PvP team deathmatch Mei’s Snow Ball Offensive is set to return as well as a new game mode called Mei’s Yeti Hunt. This pits 5 Mei’s against one super-powered Winston in a sort of boss battle scenario.
Leading up to the festivity sees a 12 days of Christmas event starting on December 10 which will give players a login reward every day.
Gearsmas is set to begin on December 15 and will bring a special Horde event and see the return of the Snowball Fight team deathmatch. Collectables will also be available to collect during the event which will finish up on January 2nd.
During the Frosty Fest, players can earn the special Snowflakes currency for every completed online game. These can be redeemed for festive items, decryptors, or the themed event crate.
Event crates will also be awarded after completing some online matches and can be purchased directly from the Rocket League Client.
Frosty Fest will also feature snow-covered fields and run from December 11 to January 2.
Wintersday celebrations return to Tyria as of December 12 bringing festivities to the Crown Pavillion in Divinity’s Reach.
Players can participate in Wintersday events and turn in their extra earned festive items to the orphans in return for karma.
Larfleeze is back and Yuletide Fear and Winter Plunderland missions have been added for villains and heroes respectively in DC Universe Online.
New feats have also been added and special holiday items can be found at Skeet’s Workshop.
Snowdown season returns with discounted champs and skins available in the Snowdown Shop at a special holiday discount until January 9, 2018.
Releasing officially on December 12, the Twisted Christmas event is back and will feature the new UMP 45 and Freeze Thrower weapons as well as special Zeds to be killed by them.
A new Krampus Lair map is also included as well as the Krampus himself.
A new winter update is coming to EVE Valkyrie’s Warzone expansion with heaps of player-requested features.
Custom matches, spectator mode, and a new map are all included in this free update, which while not particularly festive it still seems like a bit of a present.
Players on PS4, Steam, and Xbox one are being gifted a free Santa’s Shakedown map for the holiday season.
Logging in every week during Winterfest will see players earn skins, loot chests, and a special surprise before the event ends on January 18.
Paragon’s map is also covered in snow for the festivities and the coinciding introduction of a new playable hero called Terra.
