Assassin’s Creed Origins is set to launch October 27, 2017.
Ubisoft first announced Assassin’s Creed Origins in June 2017. The game is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27, 2017.
Ubisoft had been seeing diminishing returns on the annualized Assassin’s Creed franchise in recent years. That’s why the company decided not to release a new installment in 2016 in order to retool what needed fixing. The result is Assassin’s Creed Origins, a game that brings the series to ancient Egypt. E3 2017 news and updates
We may have first heard about the new Assassin’s Creed game from leaks (a common thing for the series), but oddly enough, it wasn’t Ubisoft who officially revealed Assassin’s Creed Origins to the world. It was Microsoft. Our first glimpse of the game came during Microsoft’s E3 2017 presentation.
In addition to the official reveal trailer, we also got a few minutes of gameplay running on the Xbox One X.

Ubisoft announced the game’s Collector’s Edition, which comes with a statue and a bunch of other items detailed here. You can preorder it now at the Ubisoft Store.
