Rooster Teeth co-founder heading down under to open the show this October.
Rooster Teeth co-founder and Red vs. Blue creator Burnie Burns will deliver the ‘Storytime’ opening keynote at PAX Australia 2017, which will be held from October 27 to 29 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
As Chief Creative Officer of Rooster Teeth Productions, Burns’ broad body of work has garnered multiple award nominations from The Webby Awards and International Academy of Web Television.
PAX Aus 2017 won’t be Burns’ first, either; to hear more about how Burns helped build an online video production empire (and a whole bunch of other nonsense) check out this early IGN Happy Hour the Pubcast team recorded with Burns back at PAX Aus 2013.
2017 will mark the fifth anniversary PAX Australia, which has become the largest video game and tabletop festival in the country. Previous keynote speakers for the expo include Bethesda’s Pete Hines and industry icon Warren Spector.
Tickets for PAX Australia 2017 are currently on sale via the official registration page.
