Mass Effect: Andromeda features many menus and systems. Some of those have their own secrets. Use these tools and tricks for a smoother exploration and combat experience and get more information about your Ryder in Andromeda.
Consumables exist! Equip up to four in your loadout (you get two slots when you start) and use them in the weapons menu. Consumables include things like incendiary ammo, cryo ammo, and shield capacitors.
Ryder can buy and discover consumables in containers. Enemies occasinally drop them as well.
EditSkill and Profile Favorites
Save a set of skills and your chosen profile in the Favorites wheel to easily swap between multiple skills. Save a favorite skills loadout in the Skills and Profile menus. The button that pulls up the Favorites menu is listed on the bottom right corner of that menu. You can access the Favorites in the weapons and consumables quick menu. Check out your controls settings to find out which button that is for you.
EditLoadout and Squad swap
Approach a Forward Station while exploring to change your weapon loadout, armor, and squadmates.
You can check Ryder’s personality in the Codex. Go to Journey So Far, Ryder, then read the Ongoing Psychological Profile: Pathfinder Ryder. Here you can also see Ryder’s opinions of their squadmates. The Journey So Far folders also provide insight on other major decisions and opinions of people Ryder knows.
You can switch from the campaign to multiplayer from Game settings menu while you’re in the campaign.
If you hold the Y or Triangle while in the Nomad Ryder can be instantly extracted from exploring. This is a nice, quick way to leave the planet without traveling directly to the Tempest’s location.
You can view Ryder’s progress in cleaning up potential outpost planets in Ryder’s room on the Tempest. Approach the Planetary Holo in the center of the room and interact with it to view the report.
View various accomplishments like enemies defeated, narrative choices, specific weapon kills and more in the Skills menu.
