Warm hands mete out cold justice.
If you’ve ever suffered from the literal sting of cold hands while you use your keyboard, one company wants you to know it doesn’t have to be that way.
The Envavo Heatbuff is a small infrared heating lamp that sits in front of your keyboard and pumps out a comforting warmth that’s basically an invisible hug for your hands. A hand-hug, if you will.
According to the Heatbuff Kickstarter page, the device is safe enough to touch, but still radiates the warmth our hands crave without heating up your keyboard.
It also features an adjustable angle, so “no matter how you sit at your desktop computer” your hands will be perfectly toasty.
The project has already reached its funding goal, so from here until it closes in 24 days, extra money will go toward meeting stretch goals like different colors or LED lighting.
The Heatbuff ships in December, just in time for the bitterly cold winter of the Northern hemisphere. People below the equator can benefit from the gentle 33-degree Celsius heat, because hands can still get cold even in the summer.
