No HDR Support for Shadow Warrior 2 PS4 & Xbox One Ports

Shadow Warrior 2 developer Flying Wild Hog has told Wccftech in an interview that the upcoming PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports of the title “most likely” won’t support HDR on either platform due to “time constraints.” The game has been delayed several times since its announcement in June 2015, with the latest release window being “April or May” 2017 (it released on PC back in October last year).

Elsewhere in the interview, Flying Wild Hog’s Tadeusz Zielinski shared his thoughts on the PS4 Pro, stating that its GPU is a “beast.” He said:

PS4 Pro is a great upgrade over base PS4. The CPU didn’t get a big upgrade, but GPU is a beast. It also has some interesting hardware features, which help with achieving 4K resolution without resorting to brute force.

In case you’re wondering, yes, Shadow Warrior 2 will support the PS4 Pro but Zielinski says that there are “no specific enhancements” planned.
