Many at times we cry out to God for Blessings, which is not bad because yes we all love blessings, but the question is, How many of us are walking within the principles of how to get those blessings?
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:1-3 NIV.
The above verses tells us to surround ourselves with the right people and be in right environments. Most importantly, read and meditate on the Word of God; in meditating on the Word of God, we see ourselves as the way God sees us by confessing His Words into our lives.
The key to your blessing and victorious life is in the Word of God, and this is why it is very important to have your Bible, and be reading it. If you have the Word, you don't need to be running from one prayer house to another because all you need in life is in the Word.
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8 NIV.
