Church this blog has always held a very favorable view of Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake and Lady Mae Blake, leaders of the COGIC denomination.  Even though I'm not COGIC I do have family members and close friends who are.  I'm Baptist born and Baptist bred and when I die I'll be Baptist dead. Anyhow with a new presiding bishop right over the horizon, some  COGIC members are taking to social media to express their love and admiration for Presiding Bishop Blake and Lady Mae Blake.  The following is from one such COGIC member:

   

Bishop Blake, you and Lady Mae Blake have served with class, dignity, and grace. Thank you for taking this church into the World, literally. Thank you for being an example. Thank you for showing us how to continue to lead with class while being ridiculed and talked about. Thank you for taking this church to heights unknown. Thank you, Lady Mae, for being an example to women on how to love and support their husbands. Thank you for being a lady of elegance, class, and poise. Thank you for 13 years as Presiding Bishop and First Lady of this grand ole Church Of God In Christ! We love you!
