Churches can get away with all kinds of hiring and firing practices that would be illegal in any other job sector. Take for instance celebrity Pastor Carl Lentz’s wife, Laura, who was also fired from her job as a leader within Hillsong Church allegedly due to her husband’s infidelity. Why is the wife and children having to pay for the indiscretions of the husband/father?  Not only did her husband humiliate her by cheating she's now being humiliated by her church, this is so disgusting. Anyhow, Pastor Carl was terminated from the megachurch two weeks ago after the shocking confession he cheated on his wife-of-17-years.
