Reader, I agree there's a lot of experience on the above flyer but where in the heck are the women? I know what you’re thinking. The last thing the Black Christian community needs is another high-profile pastor and Leader Conference. In which I'm in total agreement with you......unless it's a conference that's gathering influential church leaders that includes black Women who planned to strengthen the very organization that God has called to offer hope to a dying world.
As of today still, many Christian denominations are not yet comfortable with sharing their platform with women. Bishop Charles H. Ellis III, who presides over Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), once question the fairness of the exclusion of women from such leadership roles, namely, the Bishopric.
I grew up in a very traditional Baptist church that taught against women leaders. Now that I have grown in my faith, even though I personally prefer a male leader, I don't condemn women the way I used to. But a lot of people where I'm from absolutely condemn them. I'm not saying that's fair but that's how it is.
Anyhow, Bishop Charles Ellis of Greater Grace Temple is having his yearly pastors conference with the lack of women on the big stage. Some black women in the Christian community, especially one are not taking the snub lightly and have taken to social media to voice her disappointment.

dr_minime Would love to see some women of color pastors in the line-up.How are we still having PALS events with no women PALS on the program? I’m glad that you’re a part of the line up. I’m hoping that you can push the organizers to at least consider diversifying their line up in the future. The absence of women is just glaring 💆🏾♀️
[email protected]_minime I was just looking and thinking the same thing. It’s so sad.
