Church makes me sick: How Black Christians are stalling Black liberation!

Reader this Article is so true about churches in this day in time. In a world where whiteness has been used by the church to demonize a group, the church is never separated from skin in America. The first step to healing is accepting this truth, and not ignoring it. This has been my fault with all believers for years. The blindfold has gotten us nowhere.

I must say also the beautiful thing about this article is it has caused Conversation. too often people die a slow death sitting in the pews of the church and we don't know it until they're gone so it's a good opportunity for us to have conversation about some of the issues in the church from our perspective and others, so that we can gain a better understanding of what people really think.

I love the fact that we're talking because a house divided can not stand. I am a Christian and I hold up that banner proudly, but there are plenty of days that I wish I didn’t identify as such. But I do. For that very reason, I often take it upon myself to harshly criticize the faith I hold dear.
