Reader, I just read that John Legend will be performing as Jesus in a live broadcast of Jesus Christ Superstar. While I have mix feeling about his voice and style I am encourage. Jesus Christ Superstar is the next live TV musical. It's airing Easter weekend and will star John Legend as the Messiah Himself. I can already hear the white evangelicals losing their minds about political correctness. It's "society" depriving them of their beloved white Jesus--you know, not the actual historical or genetic evidence that suggest it's pretty much impossible that Jesus Christ was a caucasian.
