As the Catholic Church seems poised for a great challenge from within, we would do well to consider a paradigm shift. This shift may be the key to a grassroots lay movement that would shock the hierarchy into a full appreciation of the need to abandon the progressive MODERNISM that is moving the Church close to the breaking point. Getting back to basics involves reinvesting in a common sense Chestertonian approach to reality that will stop this incessant tinkering in its tracks. Catholicism needs to be made harder, not easier.
In my humble opinion the current Pope is in dire need of a reality check—a Damascus moment of light-based conversion.

What is it about light that makes it the conversion constant in the equation E=mc2? In today's energy-mass equivalency chatter, most scientists dismiss this c2 as arbitrary.
Au contraire! I believe c is critical both for its constancy and for the universal (catholic) nature and action of the massless photon. It been proven that this photon is attracted to mass (through gravity) in all that was created by God. It is easy to see how light speed is actually associated to the bonding energy in the atom. The strong nuclear force is there, the speed light squared is there, so a correlation exists that is special and undeniable. A similar case can be made relative to DNA and the phosphorus (light bearer of biophotons) atoms at each structured strand. As light is connected the transmission of energy so too light is connected to the transmission of life.
And what about love? Well our heart lights up with true love. Jesus Christ's perfect true love is transmitted by His Sacred Heart that burns with a living flame and His Divine Mercy that beams forth to humanity as two rays of soul cleansing light. And is not the love between the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit?
Light, life and love...those three haloed words.
It all fits together like a hand in a glove.
We learned 22 years ago "if the glove doesn't fit, you must aquit." Well how about, if the glove fits, you must admit (i.e., the Fullness of the Truth)
What have we got to lose?
God envisioned E=mc2
God created energy
God created matter
All matter has mass
God created man (spirit and matter) His image and likeness
It is clear that His likeness relates to E=mc2
3 x 108 meters/second squared seems related to the constant action of the Holy Spirit (both particle and wave)
Mass seems to be related to Jesus Christ (both God and Man) (Body and Blood) (both particle and wave)
The Holy Eucharist and E=mc2, a marriage made in heaven.
That is the paradigm shift!
