”فَاذکُرُونیِٓ“ کی ہوری بناوٴں

‘Faz Kuruni’ ki hori banaoon

Let me make a chant out of (the verse) “Remember me”

از کُرکُم“ میں پیا کو رِجھاوٴں”

‘Az kurkum’ main piya ko rijhaoon

And sing to my beloved (the verse) “And I will remember you”


اپنے سوہنے کے میں بَل ہاری جاوٴں

Apnay sohnay kay main bal hari jaaon

I’ll sacrifice my life for my beloved


  ایسے پِیا کے میں بَل بَل جاوٴں

Aisay piya kay main bal bal jaaon

Behold as I sacrifice myself for my beloved


کیسا پِیا سُبحان اللہ

Kaisa piya subhaan Allah

And what a beloved do I have by the grace of Allah

Jo shab-e-wisaal main Mustafa

On the night of union, O Mustafa


چلے جی میں ٹھان کے عرش کی

Chalay ji main thaan kay arsh ki

He left with a longing to get to his Lord’s throne


تو زمیں سے عرشِ بریِں تلک

Tau zameen say arsh-e-bareen talak

Then everything from the earth to the heavens


ہوئی حُسنِ پاک کی روشنی

Hui husn-e-paak ki roshni

Was bathed in the light of his luminescence


ہزار خوبِییِ دِل بری

Hazar khoobiye dil bari

There are thousands of attributes of my beloved


وہ بہار گُلشنِ سرمدی

Woh bahar gulshan-e-sarmadi

He is like the spring in an eternal garden


وہ سوار اپنے بُرّاق پر

Woh sawar apnay Burraq par

When he was on his Burraq


گئے جیسے بِجلی چمک گئی

Gaye jaisay bijli chamak gai

He left like a lightning bolt


بَلَغَ العُلیٰ بِکمالِہٖ

Balaghal-ula be-kamal-e-hi

He reached such heights with his fortitude

Jahan aap aap pay ho fida

وہاں کہیے کام تُوئی کا کیا

Wahan kahiye kaam tui ka kia

Then there there is no need for “you”


وہاں زِکر وصل و فِراق کیا

Wahan zikr wasl-o-firaq kia

There is no need for talk of separation and union


کے جہاں نہ ہو کوئی دوسرا

Kay jahan na ho koi doosra

When there was no other there


وہاں آپ آپؐ سے وصل تھا

Wahan aap aap say wasl tha

Then it was the Lord who was united with you (s.a.w)


وہاں آپ آپؐ سے تھا جُدا

Wahan aap aap say tha juda

And it was the Lord who was separated from you (s.a.w)


بَجُز اِس کے اور کہوں میں کیا

Bajuz is kay aur kahoon main kia

What else can I say about this, but


کہ نوُر نُور سے جا مِلا

Kay noor noor say ja mila

That light became one with light


کہ نوُر نُور سے جا مِلا

وہی اوّل وہی آخِر

Wohi awwal wohi akhir

He (s.a.w) is the end and the beginning


وہی قُراں وہی فُرقاں

Wohi Quraan wohi Furqan

He (s.a.w) is the word of the Lord and the truth


وہی یٰسیں وہی طٰهٰ

Wohi Yaseen wohi Taha

He (s.a.w) is (essence of surah) Yaseen and Taha

Daiman abadan ala habi bika khairil khalqi kullihimi

Forever, on your Beloved (s.a.w) the best of your creation
