Read Hosea 9-10 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Through the prophet Hosea You counseled the nation of Israel to:
12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Let this be a message for our own nation today and for the churches in America. We are praying for our own land- neighborhoods, cities and states, seeking mercy; praying and calling for all Christians to stand up and humbly seek Your help that comes through the counsel of Your Word and Holy Spirit.
We want Your help to break up the fallow unbelieving ground of our culture; we can’t do this in our own strength, we seek Your sovereign help. Please let Your Spirit fall upon our nation once more like rain; we want to see revival and new spiritual awakening in our own land from sea to shining sea and everywhere between.
In Jesus name, Amen.
