How so, why, for what reason – whomever does not ask remains ignorant! - Daily-Message

How so, why, for what reason – whomever does not ask remains ignorant!
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
How are you? Is everything okay with you, is your life going the way you imagined it and wished it to go? Or are there also things which annoy you, make you sad or anxious? I think, for most of us, our lives are not always just filled with sunshine, but we also sometimes go through dark patches. But, how do we deal with it?

Many of us try to push aside or suppress the things which grieve us – and more often than not we find ourselves depressed or burnt out. Even when suppressing things seem to be the easiest way out at first, the end result is not always favourable.

Some who are more extroverted, blame others and see themselves as victims of evil schemes. Some accuse God of everything. They blame Him for everything that He is doing to them and then implore Him to change their situation.

Sometimes this appears to be the right way to go, as we read in 1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.”

However, we read also read in Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

We can certainly go to the Lord with all our cares, however it is not for us to accuse Him, because we mostly don’t know the reasoning behind our suffering. In today’s Bible verse, we read that all things work together for good to them that love God.

I watched a modern film about Joseph’s story from the Old Testament. He also experienced suffering over and over again, which seemed to be unjustified in his case. Only after many more experiences and sufferings, he was able to understand the meaning of all his experiences.

When we bring our sufferings before God, we should not do so in a reproachful manner, but rather with the question: “God, what do you want to achieve in me through this?” Sometimes we are able to obtain an answer, but sometimes we are just too blind to see what God has in store for us – because His thoughts are higher than ours.

When you are experiencing suffering again, ask God to open your eyes so that you are able to recognize His plan for you!

I wish you a blessed day with much insight for your life. [mehr]
