What is the link between "manavu" and "manali" ?

Manuvu:-         According to Hindu scripts there are 14 manuvu s or manavus specified. as per Hindu traditions "Manuvu" is a  title accorded to a progenitor  of human kind.  The duration of "manavu" astronomical period of time measurement called as "Manvamtara". So according to Hindu mythology there  14 Manavamtras, and each Manvantra created and ruled by specific Manavu. who in turn is created by Brahma, the Creator himself. Manu creates the world, and all its species during that period of time, each Manvantara lasts the lifetime of a Manu, upon whose death, Brahma creates another Manu to continue the cycle of Creation or Shristi, Vishnu  on his part takes a new Avatar and also a new Indhra and Saptarishis  are appointed.

       As per Hindu Texts present running time is ruled by 7th Manavu i.e Vaivaswata Manavu. NeXt coming Manavu name is "Surya Savarnika Manavu", and Manvatra name also on his name which will  be  known  as  "Surya Savarnika Manvantaram.According to Hindu Texts In this age of Manu ,the incarnation of the supreme personality of the God head i.e ViShnu appears as Sourvabouma ,the son of devaguhya and Sarswati.( see this link}.

     Manali :-  Manali is a small town which situates in Kullu District of Himachal pradesh, India. Manali is named after the above said  Manavu. . The word Manali is regarded as the changed name of "Manu-Alaya" which literally means "the abode of Manu".Legend has it that sage Manu stepped off his ark in Manali to recreate human life after a great flood had deluged the world. Manali is also often referred to as the "Valley of the Gods". The Old Manali village has an ancient temple dedicated to sage Manu.
        Manu Temple is located in old Manali, at a distance of three kilometers from the main market. The temple is dedicated to the above Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. Though temple is situated in a congested place, visitors from across the globe come to visit it. The charming location of Manu Temple, on the bank side of river Beas, adds to its attraction. The temple was rebuilt in the year 1992, when the vaulted ceiling and marble floors were added.the picture of the temple and river bias given below.
