So it begins!

"We should glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he is our salvation,
our life and our resurrection; through Him we are saved and made free." Galations 6:14

Tonight is the beginning of the tridium in the church. We celebrate as Christ did the last Supper. I think that of all the nights this is one of the most important. Here he sits with his disciples and says "Take this, all of you, and eat of it: for this is my body which will be given up for you. Take this, all of you, and drink from it: for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant. which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins .Do this in memory of me."
He sat and broke bread with these men that he loved, and assured them he would come back to them. He also told them one would deny him. I don't know about you, but if I knew that I were going to die such a horrible death, I would be a nut case, not sitting calmly hanging with my boys. I don't care if I knew I was going to be raised, I would still be freaking out!
Now I am human and there is a part of me who think mmmmmhhhmmm invisible man, salvation, heaven, what?????????? But then I am not divine or God and I have human emotions! There are moments in life that one forgets Jesus died so we could be given life, and tonight starts it.
He died for us so we could have life everlasting, for our sins to be forgiven, and all he asks is we follow him. It seems so simple but yet we screw it up all the time. The amazing thing is that he still loves us! ALWAYS as Father says.
For all the crap of this week, and believe me there has been much, I must remember tonight that no matter how alone I feel Jesus is ALWAYS by my side. I must hand everything over to him.

So today thank Jesus for the wonderful things he has done for you! Remember that sometimes you must walk in the sufferings of Christ to know who he is!!!

Ite Missa Est

Deo Gratias
