I find it continually surprising how many Conservative MPs become so animated during discussions about Foreign Aid.
They are much more passionate about the needy overseas than they are about the needy in the United Kingdom.
Watching BBC Parliament in the comfort of my home, I am incensed at the amount of emotional outpouring Conservatives put into Foreign aid debates.
Am I wrong?
Ron Paul does not think so. Here is an excellent graphic to share — not mine, unfortunately — citing his quote on foreign aid as:
taking money from Poor people in a rich country and giving it to rich people in a poor country.
We know that much foreign aid money never reaches the poor for whom it was intended:
Please circulate the graphic. Thank you.
