Exodus 25 vs 1-3
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. 3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
- We can learn three lessons from this passage.
- Firstly, the children of God are supposed to come to God with an offering.
- Anytime you are going into God’s presence, go with an offering.
- Secondly, the priests of God are to accept any offering you give unto God on his behalf.
- It is not out of place for men of God to request an offering. They take this offering on behalf of God.
- Thirdly, your offering should be of good quality.
- I pray you shall not be stingy toward God in Jesus’ name.
- I pray you shall receive the mind, spirit and revelation to go to God with quality offering in Jesus’ name.
- Cain’s offering was rejected because it was not of good quality. You shall not give an offering in vain in Jesus’ name.
- Many years ago, I went to visit the King of my village. My mother accompanied me, and she said we must not visit the King with an empty hand. On our way, we bought a bottle of wine.
- If, under human culture, you don’t go to the King’s presence empty-handed, how much more is the King of kings?
- You should not give your offering grudgingly because God is not a beggar.
- From today, as you appear before God, you shall appear with a good and quality offering in Jesus’ name.
- As your present your offerings to God, it shall provoke heaven, and God shall honour your offering in Jesus’ name. Amen.
