Don't leave your faith behind; Live with your faith.

Are you a "Sunday Christian"? On Sundays, you will feel very charged up and full of Faith, excited and motivated when you come to church and hear the message.

But the moment you step out, you literally leave your faith behind the four walls of the church and enter back into the "World of Reality".

As we go about our daily life, we tend to become so absorbed into the routine, mundane and stress that we end up relying on our own Strength to go through.

Instead we need to learn to live with our faith, apply the word of God that we receive in church and intertwine it to become part of us and the central guiding system of our life.

Ps 84:5-12 tells us about the good outcome of walking with God and putting our trust in Him.

When our strength is not dependent on our own but on God, the bible calls us Blessed!

When our trust is not in our own talents, gifts and abilities but in God, the bible calls us Blessed!

When we separate the Word of God from our way of living, then we have made the word of God of no effect and we become just a Christian in name. We live a powerless, frustrated and defeated life.

If you want to be Blessed, if you want to live a victorious Christian life that is filled with God's blessings, power, grace and glory, you have to walk through this life with God daily (appearing before Him in Zion), praying and seeking Him.

You will experience the Valley of Weeping, the season of sorrows and pain. Instead of facing it all alone, relying on your own strength, you need to make a personal choice and decision to walk through these valleys with God.

As you do that, in His presence you will find springs of joy, rain of abundance to provide and pools of living water to nourish your soul that you will not be thirsty.

God promised us that He is our sun and shield. He is our Light and He is our Covering. His light brings life and His shield protects us from harm and harsh elements of life.

As we integrate God and His word into our life, as we set our heart, our strength and trust in Him and walk uprightly, no good thing will He withhold from us!

Psalms 84:5‭-‬12 NKJV
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. 6 As  they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength; Each  one  appears before God in Zion. 8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah 9 O God, behold our shield, And look upon the face of Your anointed. 10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. 11 For the Lord God is  a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. 12 O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Dear God, I do not want to go through life struggling and relying on my own strength. I want to put my trust in You and in Your word. Teach me to apply the power of God's word and experience breakthrough in every area. I pray for your grace and glory over my life, over my family, my career and finances. As I learn to have faith, as I trust in You and walk right with You, I believe that no good thing will you withhold from me! Thank You for Your promises for me in Your Word which will never fail! Amen.

God bless,
Hazel Ashley
