Why Doing the Will of God Fulfills Our Greatest Potential in Life

In John 5:24-30, the word of God assures us that our faith is not built upon a man. But our faith is built upon the Son of God who has life in Himself,  just as our Father God. And because He died on the Cross to pay for our sins, we can have eternal life.

The great news is that we believe in a Savior who is not dead but alive! He has passed from death and resurrected to life. (1 Pet 3:18)

Lazarus was a prelude of Jesus' own resurrection. The moment Jesus called Lazarus to "Come Forth!", Lazarus was raised from death to life and came out from the tomb. (John 11:38-44)
Today, the same resurrection power of God is available to us. Jesus is Calling you and I to "Come Forth!".

He is calling out to our spirit man to come alive. He is calling out for our dreams, visions and hopes that have died to come alive. He will bring us from death to life, and out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1 Pet 2:9)

And being in His light is also to live in knowing and walking in His perfect will for us. Just as Jesus sought the will of God and fulfilled it so that the world may be saved. (John 5:30, John 3:17, 1 John 4:9)

God is our Creator. He knows why and what He has created us for. He knows how and where we will function at our best. (Gen 5:2, Isa 40:28)

Because Jesus surrendered himself fully to the will of God, his impact was not limited only to his disciples, the physical places that he went and people that he ministered to. But ultimately his impact was to the whole world, to generations after generations and unto eternity.

God's will for us is far beyond our ability to imagine and to comprehend. For eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (1 Cor 2:9)

As we seek the will of our heavenly Father, we will fulfill our greatest potential, experience the fullness of His joy and be walking in the higher calling that He has for us!
Let this day be the beginning of us seeking fervently for God's will to be done in our life and maximize the great seed of potential that He has placed in us!

John 5:24‭-‬30 NKJV
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.  25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,  27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.  28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice  and 29 come forth— those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that You sent Jesus to die on the Cross to pay for my sins so that I can have eternal life. I thank You that I believe in a Savior who is alive! I pray that I will be like Jesus to know and walk in Your perfect will for me so that I can maximise my potential in You. I thank You for the great things that you have in store for me, far above what I can imagine or comprehend. Let me experience the fullness of joy in fulfilling the higher calling you have in my life. I thank You for all Your goodness and grace and I believe that my future is bright in Christ!
In Jesus' name I pray all these, Amen!

God bless,
Hazel Ashley
