Maximize Your Efforts

“I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”

Whether it be a loved one or a stranger, you probably know what it feels like to see someone you wish you could help. Many have worked themselves to exhaustion, trying to be a provider. The labor is hard. The demand can be draining. You know how the saying goes: Give a man a Fish and he'll have food for one day; teach a man to fish and he'll have food for a lifetime.

As we continue through this year, work is inevitable, but keep working smarter instead of Harder. Maximize your efforts. You know you can do one thing for one person. Imagine, using the same efforts to make provision available for many at a time. {E.g. Delegation, Building Your Team, etc.} Instead of working hard to give away fish (then attracting more people who make you have to work even harder to give away even more fish), connect with people you can build with.

There will be people who might share their excuses and say, the reason they are not blessed is because of their luck in life; life hasn't treated them fairly. I pray God gives you wisdom and authority to know when to say, "Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!" A person who receives freely can give freely. It can take the same amount of energy to do for one, as it takes to do for many. You just have to strategize and work smarter instead of harder. Don't drain yourself. Work to expand.

Lots of Love, XO
