Bhrum / Hum Bam symbol (Sanskrit syllables)

Bhrum / Hum Bam symbol (Sanskrit syllables)

Hi everyone. Is anyone familiar with the Bhrum symbol/syllable? As far as I understand it combines two syllables - Hum and Bam. It's hard to find info about it on the internet, I found mostly photos of a protective amulet with this symbol.

The problem is, it looks kinda different on different pictures. Can someone tell which one looks right, or please post a correct Bhrum drawing, I'd really appreciate it, I need to know how it actually looks like.

And also, is it really supposed to protect if worn as an amulet or tattooed?

Thanks!
