Sisi ni Sawa means we're the same

🎵Sisi ni Sawa means we're the same
Forget about the past
When there's nothing to gain
At the end of the day it's like water and rain
Sisi ni Sawa: we are the same 🎵(lion guard)

Hello everyone. I don't know about you but I Love observing people while I'm out with my family. I don't mean staring them out, I mean just taking in the beauty of Gods creation. No matter how many babies are being born, everyone of us are different on the outside. Even identical twins have a noticeable difference to those who truly know them.
We've got various skin tones, various hair colours, various body shapes, various faiths, ideas and opinions. Without God in the picture I don't know how you can explain billions of different types of wonderful people. Thinking about trying to design so much just blows your mind. Yet if God stripped all that away, the skin, the hair, the fashion, the status in society, gender, sexuality.. what would we see apart from a pretty gruesome picture. All the blood and muscles and the bones that all hold together to make a person function. Though fascinating it would be something out of a horror movie if God did take all that away.  One thing for sure is we wouldn't be able to tell who the darker skinned person to the lighter skinned. OR who the homosexual person was to the straight person. We'd all look the same. In my opinion that would be very boring. I think it's fabulous how difference we all are. How incredibly talented in so many different ways we all are. I must admit I haven't always thought this way. Growing up i used to make my friends laugh by mocking others in how they looked. it wasn't till I truly had a relationship with Jesus did that stop. Thank the Lord for forgiveness right.

  • Galatians 3:26-29

26 For you are all children[a] of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.[b] 28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile,[c]slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children[d] of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

  • Romans 2:11
For God does not show favoritism.

  • Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Someone once said at a bible study "I can't understand why God would love a criminal"... it's so easy to love those who are nice to us; who treat us with the respect we think we deserve. But the real challenge is to love and extend grace to those who have wounded us. Not so easy all the time. But God is fully aware we can't do it ourselves, we need his help in hand, his love, his forgiveness, his guidance.

throughout our lives we experience many influences whether they are good or bad, encouraging or soul crushing. Some are brought up with loving parents. Some live knowing abuse. And it's through our experiences that we become who we are today. Whether that maybe a happy person, or maybe your on the brink of suicide. I want to encourage you, that through  Christ Jesus you are a new creation, You are a masterpiece. He died on the cross all those years ago because there is nothing we can do that can wash away the sin we commit throughout our lives. He died because his love for us is so vast but because of our sin a barrier is made, our hard sinful heart means we can not have a Relationship with the Creator of everything. And a relationship is the reason he made us. He wanted someone to chose to love and worship him, to chose to have a personal relationship with him. But the only way that could happen was with an ultimate sacrifice that was pleasing to God. and in John 3:16 we read about that incredible sacrifice. And it's all thanks to jesus that we can experience the wonders of a relationship with the almighty. And spend eternity with him, never experiencing pain, tears ever again. It's through that example and experience of love that we can love others because he loved us. It's important to remember that God didn't send his son Jesus to die just for Christians, or just for Jews or just for gentiles. No. Jesus died for the entire world. Yes that means everyone. Everyone ranging from black to white, fat to thin, gay to straight, faith based to atheists, those who have committed a crime to those with no criminal record. he died for everyone. He offers the hand of love to give salvation to those who will simply take his hand and believe and follow him. Jesus said when you feed, give a drink, give clothes, give some where to sleep, give money, help in any way shape or form you were doing it to him. He knows it's not always easy but he promises not to leave you nor forsake you. Learning to love doesn't always happen over night. but God has all the time in the world, after all he's out of time. And he is very patient. He knows a willing heart. He won't refuse to help you.

Let's pray
Father God, I praise your name for all you can done for me regardless to whether I deserve it or not. Thank you for the precious gift of your son, and the love you have for someone as little as me. Forgive me for any mistakes I have done, or any opportunities I have missed to love somebody because of something they may have said or done to hurt me, or offend me. who am I to hold anything against anyone. when amongst everyone I'm also reason for the need of your sons sacrifice. Please God help me see and love people the way you see and love me. Help me put others above myself. Soften my heart too your creation, no matter what their gender is, sexuality is, faith is, intellectual level is or skin colour. To you Father we are all equal, all the same. In Jesus name amen.
