Being right with God

Tags: jesus sins lord

In this crazy world, with so many bad things happening, are you in a good relationship with your Father God in heaven?

The good news is He has made it very easy to come to Him no matter what you’ve done in your life. There is no wrong action or thought that is too big or bad for God to forgive and wash away!

God loves you no matter what and He wants you to know Him as your loving father.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 – This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Through Jesus Christ, God has made it easy for us to be at peace with Him and to be His child.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Romans 5:1-2 – Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, wehave peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And weboast in the hope of the glory of God.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived a sinless life as a man on the earth. He then died on the cross, having taken all our Sins, past, present and future onto Himself. He died in our place, paying the full price for all our wrong doings so that we could be made innocent. Jesus was buried and then rose from the dead on the 3rd day, proving that He was who He said He was and that He had power over both death and sin. Anyone who believes in Jesus will be saved.

We are saved and made right with God through what Jesus did. The only thing required of us is to believe in Him. We need to believe that Jesus rose from the dead, after dying for our sins on the cross and we need to declare Him Lord over our lives. This is how you become a sin free child of God!

Romans 10:8-13 –  But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 – For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

You can say this simple prayer to God to receive this amazing salvation:

Dear God, I thank you for sending Jesus to die for my sins on the cross. I believe that Jesus rose again on the 3rd day and that my sins are all washed away. I choose to make Jesus the Lord of my life. I turn my back on my old ways and choose to follow Jesus. Thank you that I am now a child of God, not based on my own performance but through believing in Jesus.

Now that you have become a follower of Jesus, you should find other Christians to walk through this life with. The best way to do this is to find a church near you and make sure you tell the Pastor that you have decided to follow Jesus. They can help you to grow and get all the good stuff God has for you.
