The Elizabethan manor in Berkshire was built around 1580

It was built around 1580 by John Barker, who at the time was a gentleman usher to Queen Elizabeth I.


A classic Queen Anne façade was added in 1700 and extensions were built in 1927 and 1936.


The grounds extend to almost 46 acres and include a former squash court, barn and stables.
